NBL Finals Teams:
The following teams qualified for the NBL Finals
- Melbourne United
- Sydney Kings
- Illawarra Hawks
- Tasmania JackJumpers
Melbourne United:
Being the reigning champs and losing Jock Landale, Mitch McCarron, Sam McDaniel, and Scotty Hopson made the season difficult, but they finished clear on top and couldn’t have been more remarkable.
Sydney Kings:
The season appeared to be derailed before it even began, with six of the first nine matches being lost. However, as Jaylen Adams recovered from his injury, everything changed, and he and Xavier Cooks emerged as dominant characters.
Illawarra Hawks:
They struggled early on, losing six of nine matches in a row, but have since won 11 of 14 to finish second and win home-court advantage in the finals. They are a better squad than they were last year when they came within a game of the Grand Final.
Tasmania JackJumpers:
They may not be the most gifted, but they give it their best every minute, play high-pressure defense and hound their opponents for 40 minutes, and generally make themselves difficult to play against.
